Maria Calloway grew up in Middlesex, riding horses and showing throughout Virginia. A graduate of Middlesex High School, she went on to receive a BS in Business Administration from Christopher Newport University, and an MS in Accounting from Liberty University. A licensed CPA since December 2013, Maria has worked in public and governmental accounting since 2009. Currently, she is the Chief Deputy Treasurer for Gloucester County, a position she has held since June 2018. Maria resides in Gloucester with her son, husband, and an eight-year-old black Lab. In addition to being an avid weightlifter and competitive bodybuilder, Maria enjoys crafting, boating on local rivers with her family, and anything beach-related.
