Jim Camp grew up in central North Carolina. He attended East Carolina University and graduated from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with a BS in Industrial Engineering, also earning a Masters in Public Administration. After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, Jim and his wife Susan settled first in York County. Jim and Susan moved to Gloucester County in 1994 and have supported GMHS ever since. Jim and Susan are cat people and always have one, two or three to keep them company. The current furry residents are M. Shaddow and Orlando. Jim and Susan have an established bird habitat (and an unintentional squirrel sanctuary) and enjoy watching the wildlife that visit on a daily basis. Jim plays golf and enjoys traveling, gardening, and serving as Treasurer of the Gloucester Point Rotary and President of the Foundation. He looks forward to participating in the continued growth and prosperity of GMHS.
